This luxuriously warm and lightweight soft shawl is perfect for autumn and winter. A beautiful, versatile piece that can be worn in a number of ways to suit your own individual style. Or to use as a meditation blanket.

In October, once the last crop of the year has been harvested (red rice) the local people have more time to sit at their looms. This is an important part of the heritage of Himachal Pradesh. These shawls are the result of inherited skills from past generations.

A small batch commissioned by me. By working and supporting Durga directly, who weaves independently from her Himalayan home.
